Just enjoying breakfast

Sophia was seated at the long table enjoying eating her breakfast, there weren't many people in the cafeteria but since when were people up on eight o'clock on the weekends? As she looked around for Nathan or Shika she sighed when she didn't see them anywhere around or anyhwere to be seen. Thinking they were either still alseep or doing something else at the moment. As she seen back to eating her fruit salad she hoped they would come soon especially Nathan for she loved being around him. Sophia was wearing a light brown shirt with dark brown ribbons that were tied around her waist with a black mini hirt with back hoes and black heels with her hair down and wavy. As Sophia kept eating she noticed some people coming in but it wasn't them.

Shikataro walked into the cafeteria. He held a photo of his younger brother, Shikaneko. He shed a small tear as he sat down.

Sophia looked at Shika with ad eyes as he sat down. "Hello Shika."said Sophia softly as she seen the picture she smiled."I'm sure he misses you to."said Sophia softly.

"He can't even sleep at night without me. He's totally dependent on me for everything. How is he ever going to manage?" Shikataro said.

"I don't know Shika, maybe he will learn on his own."said Sophia softly feeling sorry for Shika. She knew he mut really love his little brother to talking about him the way he was.

"I'm sure he's doing fine Shika."said Sophia softly as she took a bite of her fruit salad. "How old is he if I may ask?"Sophia asked softly after she swallowed a grape.

"Fourteen" Shika stated, "and he's uhh....how do I say this? ....not interested in girls".

Sophia nodded when he said he wasn't interested in girls. "I know what your saying completely."said Sophia softly not caring what a person was as long as they were friendly to her.

Sophia smiled when he told her about his brothe kissing another boy. "I bet it was cute."said Sophia laughing and smiling.

Sophia laughed. "Yeah I bet you didn't want to see all that!"said Sophia laughing as she took another bite of her fruit salad and looked around once again.

"I couldn't stand to see my innocent Neko making love to someone", Shika replied, he then opened up a small box with a hamburger and fries.

Sophia nodded understanding what he ment. As she seen him open a small box with a humburger and fries she laughed. "Nice breakfast Shika."said Sophia laughing and smiling.

Sophia laughed. "No matter what kind of guy I meet, there never a morning person!"said Sophia laughing her tinkling bell laugh. "I guess I always been a morning person but I was rasied to be that way."said Sophia softly,

Sophia gasped when he said they were going to kill him at 20. "Oh my gosh, that's horrible luckily you got away!"said Sophia softly.

"I got away during a village war. I had to take my little brother with me, otherwise he'd be dead now" Shika nodded.

Sophia nodded. "Well I'm glad you and Neko got away and your not both dead!"said Sophia softly. "So do you and your brother live together alone without any parents?"Sophia asked softly.

"Actually, we live with a girl I liked. She lives in Nova Scotia", Shika said, "she was kind enough to let us stay even though her folks weren't pleased. Neko and I no longer have parents, we even lost our older sister, Shikami"".

"I'm so sorry."said Sophia sadly feeling sorry that Shika lost his parents and his sister. Sophia wouldn't know what she what do do when she lost her mother and her sister she already lot her farther in a car accident on Christmas Eve. "I lost my farther when I was seven on Christmas Eve, he was getting me a doll I wanted and it was snowing and he skidded on the ice and crash into a tree and died."said Sophia softly as she held back tears. Sophia didn't tell people about her dad but she thought she would tell Shika seeing how he was telling her about hi life.

Sophia nodded as she held back tears. "Yeah I miss him so much, every time it's Christmas Eve I think of that night although I know I shouldn't."said Sophia ighing softly and sadly.
