Physical Appearance: Her brown hair, streaked with blonde, reaches just below her shoulders, and is often down. Her eyes are a dark blue. A pointed nose that seems to be permanently turned up, and full pink lips complete the image.
Katiana is slender, though not very tall. To make up for her height, she wears heels almost all the time. Her closet is filled with fitted jeans and stylish shirts. She loves wearing scarves, and owns more than a few. Though you might not expect it, Katiana doesn't have much in the way of jewelery, and never carries a purse.
Personality Description: A secret nerd, Katiana spends as much time as possible hidden in her room with a book. Outside of that space, however, she rubs off as arrogant and manipulative, though she possesses a certain measure of charisma. She has few friends, and prefers it that way, so that no one knows what she's really like. While the world perceives her as cold and calculating, all Katiana wants in the world is a book, quiet, and maybe some hot cocoa.

History: Katiana's parents were Russian immigrants to Canada who run a successful business in Toronto. They always hoped that their children would help to grow the fortune, and so discouraged Katiana's loner tendencies. Eventually, Katiana found that by humoring them, they would leave her to herself. When her powers manifested, it brought a new world of problems. Her parents tried to find some way to use her powers, though they pretended they were looking out for her well-being. When she was invited to the Electus Academy, her parents were considering saying no, but Katiana was stubborn. She finally resorted to using her powers to scare them into sending her. Now she's 16, in her 4th year, and loving the Academy.
Katiana closed the door to her bedroom with a soft click, and let out a sigh. She could keep up her mask of nicety for as long as she had to, but she really preferred being alone. A good book was really all the company she needed. She sat down on the edge of her bed, and began to look through her bag for the book she had been reading... The Picture of Dorian Gray. She fell back on to the bed and rolled onto her stomach. Finally.
